Hey guys and girls. I found the problem the soap dispenser tube popped out of the gasket and was leaking behind the gasket and running down the front. It was pretty easy to take apart the unit. I can also offer this tip. Cut the hose off of the soap dispenser piece. Pull the tube through the hole in the gasket and reinstall the soap dispenser and carefully pull the hose back to re-seat the soap dispenser.

Ive never worked on a Kenmore but it may just be the overflow outlet. All washing machines have an overflow which will dump water out from the top of the tub if it overfills but sometimes on high fill water level, clothes can splash around and cause a "wave" of water to splash out over the overflow outlet. Check to see if the leak only occurs when you have selected high level fill.
this most likely is coming from the pump assembly which is located on the front... make sure the clean out filter lid is tight and nothing is leaking from there... make sure you have no tears in the door liner /rubber boot... your going to have to gain access to inside of unit to inspect and see where exactly the water is coming from ....it could even be comning from one of the hoses that go to your dispenser area as water does go through there during operation..... good luck to you....
I have an Atlantis myself. There can be several problems. Did you check that the fill hoses in the back are not leaking? Are they tight? There are hoses inside the washer and a pump near the front. I replaced my pump last year and I,m getting ready to replace the thrust bearing assembly (spin issues). Does the washer leak with every load? make sure water is not splashing over the tub when filling. The front panel comes off if you can and leave off and watch to see where water is coming from.
The first thing that I would check, is the hot & cold water hoses, that connect in the back of the washer, to see if they are tight. If they are tight and still leaking from there, then the rubber washer, inside the brass fitting part needs replaced. If that doesn't help, then disconnect the power, and water hoses, then turn the washer over and check the water hose underneath, to see if its leaking. One of these hoses has to be the problem.
