I have psp slim (PSP 2000) with 5.03 GEN C (Full), i cant play with the new downloaded games,,,...what's the latest cfw i can upgrade my psp, so i can play the new games i have,,,<>?? thank...

Hey there.
Before updating to 5.50 Gen-D3 (which is a higher version than yours), try knowing your PSP MoBo first. Why? Because, you may brick your PSP with the upgrade. Use PSPident to do that. Here's a link for that (MONSTER here!!!). Don't mind the monster, I just thought it's kinda nice doin' that. LOL
Now, do that PSPident in your PSP. If your MoBo appear to be TA088v3, DO NOT (never ever) upgrade to 5.50 Gen-D3 or you will have your PSP dead... If your MoBo is LOWER than TA088v3 (like, say, TA085v1 or v2) then go on with the 5.50 Gen-D3.
If upgrading doesn't solve your problem with playing homebrew, you may have downloaded a corrupted ISO or CSO file... Find a new torrent for that game again...
Happy playing...

I upgrade my psp slim to 6.31 but cannot use my hombrew

I think upgrading to higher versions will disable you from playing homebrew. Try CFW that is 6.20 or upgrade it to 6.35... Be careful though, installing CFW to your PSP (especially it's slim which has the chance to have a TA088v3 MoBo) may result to PSP bricking.
Try to search the web as many as possible to make sure you're doing the right thing. I cannot give you the answer here because playing homebrew in PSP is quite vast and if I were you, I'll browse a lot before touching my PSP again... Here's what you need to know;
1. Your PSP Slim MoBo (Motherboard) - make sure that it's not TA088v3. To know your MoBo version, download and install PSPIdent in your PSP and run it. It will create an image file detailing what is your PSP MoBo version.
2. Being ready for Pandora and Magic Memory stick in case you brick your PSP (which works only to those with non TA088v3 boards).
3. Files you are downloading. Installing CFW to play homebrew is tricky. You need to download the correct file which is ultimately relative to each other in order to do it right.
Now, you may consider browsing PSPmod and everythign Dark Alex is doing to get a worthy solution to your problem...
Good luck...

How to download a firmware 5.55

If you're referring to Official S0ny Firmware, it's in your PSP menu. You should connect your PSP to internet to do this update. It's a guided procedure so you would not have difficulties in doing so.
If you're planning to install ChickHen and Custom Firmware to your PSP to play Homebrew games, think twice. You should know the consequences of possibly "Bricking" your PSP. Things to put into consideration are (a) Your PSP version, some 200 series and the all 3000 SHOULD not be installed with CFW because they cannot be fixed once bricked. (b) Your MotherBoard version, if you have PSP 2000, make sure that your MoBo is lower than TA088v3. If not, DO NOT try ChickHen. Just a warning though.

My psp version is set to 6.37 and in our country (Philippines) we can't download games because it is a high version, how can i make my psp version into 6.35???

Depending on your model, your best bet is a pandoras battery. I would not recommend trying it if your psp is a 2000 model or later, because you may end up bricking it. Correction, you WILL end up bricking it. Also, you CANNOT download games onto 6.35 (or any OFW, for that matter). You need custom firmware if you want to download games.

PSP won't power on

When you play a new game for the first time, the psp checks for the firmware version of your psp. If a newer version is available, the disc will require you to update your psp. If you do not update the game cannot be played. If you update, you MUST charge the battery 1st. Then, you must have the charge plugged in and allow the update to run uninterrupted. If you remove the game or unplug the charger during the update the bios chip will be ruined and you now have little more than a "brick".
When this happens, the unit completely locks up and has to be replaced. Basically, it corrupts the operating system and there is no ability to restore default settings as a back-up.

Transfer games from computer

you will also have to downgrade your psp firmware.. you need a program for that and a cable as long as i remember, BE EXTRAORDINARILY CARE FULL WITH DOWNGRADING.. you can brick your PSP... and bricking is making your PSP as useful as a brick

then you need the memory card for that and a card reader or a sony camera.. to act as a card reader.. you just upload your games to your card and its done

the bad thing of all this, is that playing iso´s is Illegal.. so i recommend you not do this.. unless you are playing back ups of your games.
i am not posting more about this because its sort of illegal...
