Question about Vulcan GCO2D Gas Single Oven
We are building out a food trailer for our churches rescue/mission services and I have a problem. i CAN'T GET THE ELECTRONIC IGNITER TO CREATE A SPARK(oops caps lock button). I have pulled the electrode from the housing to see if it is making spark and there is nothing. I hear a click in the Ignition/Spark control unit but there is no spark. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thaddeus, leave the ignitor in its place and try to bend/adjusted close to the burner.if you dont hear a click--click noise its not sparking and the problem may be the ignition board.if you do hear it check the orange/black wire to the ignitor.it could be damaged and the spark is being grounded onto the frame of the oven.the easy way to tell is if you hear the spark but no gas try to light it manually,if sucessful clean out the pilot--if this doesnt work replace the ignition cable.i service these ovens alot.if you need a part let me know and i can give you a part #.

Like an electronic igniter for a gas grill? I believe you can pick up a replacement. Call Lowes or Homedepot. I know i have saw individual igniter's before my friends bought some for my friend and I when we were little to make potato cannons.
