The problem to this solution is NOT TO BUY this phone! I bought this phone 6 months ago for my son & we are going on our third phone because of this exact problem. It power cycles constantly and is completely inoperable. Unfortunately Sprint has a policy that you cannot replace a phone with a different model unless you have replaced it 3 times. Unacceptable! As a customer, you have to manually replace your numbers..lose all of your photos? This is not okay! I have been a customer for 12 years. I'm starting to question the integrity of the company..Toyota all over again.

This happened to me too. The sprint store couldn't fix it, so they're giving me a new one. But I really don't want another one if I'm not the only person whose had this problem.

I am so upset --I just had the EXACT thing happen to my Samsung Reclaim --the clerk at Bell Mobility actually tried to accuse me of
DROPPING my phone. My phone is 8 months old and just stopped mid-call. I have not heard back but my phone has not been dropped it just stopped working ! I should have the phone back in a week or so. But, if this keeps recurring I am not certain that I want another Reclaim. I lost all my contact information- pictures and not so much as an apology and to have someone blame me for this happening is so insulting !!

I had this same issue before with my Reclaim. Phone #1 - Reboots itself. It froze a lot and it turns off by itself. It was frustrating. Then I was adviced to have it replaced. Then Phone #2 - I was also given a tip not to download too much applications from 3rd party websites. These apps cause the freezing of phone at one point. I just downloaded apps from my service provider site . Then when I charge phone - i dont leave it on overnight. I mean it should be turned off while being charged. The phone needs a breather too so they say. Turn it off while being charged. Since they say using phone while charging shortens the lifespan of battery life and thus the rebooting issue.

Hmm... anyone have this resolved? If you do, can you tell us the firmware revision that fixes it? Settings->Phone Info->Version tells me that I have firmware version M560.CJ29, but I'm getting reboots at all hours of day and night. Sprint Technical service tells me that this is the most recent firmware version, but they can't tell me if this (or any!) firmware version specifically addresses the reboot issue.

Mine is doing the samething it started only doing it when the phone went dead and you had it plugged into the charger and tried turning it one and then last night i was on the internet on my phone and it just shut off and when i tried turning it back on it wouldn't
stop restarting and you have to the battery out to get the restarting to stop! i hate this phone so much i had a Exclaim before and i loved it til i found out that it had a glitch with text messaging and had to switch it for a reclaim! look like phones made from corn and recycled plastic dont do so well!

My LG CU720 keeps rebooting / recycling

It sounds like your software has corrupted. You can either opt for a software reload or contact your carriers warranty dept for an exchange. Also if you have a memory card installed, power the phone off, remove the memory card, reboot the device. Sometimes a corrupt memory card can cause a phone to go into an endless boot cycle.
