I have a kenmore elite oasishe washer and it keeps setting off messages that I am not sure the meaning of. It finished washing the other day and it had hc on the machine what does this mean?

This HC error code will appear at the end of the wash cycle to indicate that the hot and cold water inlet hoses are switched.
If the hoses are not switched it could indicate a problem with the Electronic Control Board.
You can try to rest the washer by unplugging or flipping the breaker to the washer fo 2-5 min.
Restore power to the washer and try running a short cycle.
This will help clear any irregularities that the control board may have encountered.

Grinding noise and results in F 02 alarm

It would not hurt to remove the bottom panel and see what is in the pumpeac52cb.jpge1bc6f6.jpg

I pushed the start button and got some clicking noise, then I got an alarm sounding beep with a "F" flashing, then another alarm sounding beep with a "dl" flashing...which continued until I cancelled

If you give a specific model I could get a manual and see what i can find out but what i will do is direct you to the Kenmore questions line which is, (one last thing try unplugging the washing machine and then plug it back in maybe that will reset it, if you still get the error look below.)

Product questions
Call 1-888-KENMORE (1-888-536-6673).

also if you do not have the manual for the product you can obtain an online version here.

http://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/

if you look on the right hand side of the page you will see in bold letters.

Find Owners Manual
We've got manuals for every major brand in your home

just enter your model number in there and look through the manual for the troubleshooting section and then error codes.

Door locks, but will not fill up with water. Alarm sounds and lights flash once every minute or so

There is a rectangular magnet attached on the inside of the drawer for the detergent. Located on the right hand side near the front of the drawer. This magnet had come loose. Some glue and caulking worked well and the washer is working fine now. Meant to post this weeks ago.

Washer full and then stops and gives a beep while flashing F 51

On Kenmore F51 means Motor RPS Failure, the motor is not spinning or the motor sensor detects a fault.First unplug the power cord for one hour or so to check if it is a jammed sensor, and see if reset.
