Re: Just Stopped working...

I have the same problem, bought this camera in probally '05-'06 and sometime in '08 it just stopped working, just recently ordered new battery and charging accessories because the battery would even charge or light up the camera's charge button. Well it's not the batteries or any charging accessories, Its The Camera, anyone else know what has happend here? I bought When it first came out @ over $700 it seemed to be worth it till it died for no reason!!

The tape will not eject, battery is charged, help! Thank you!

Unplug battery and reattach it again, then try to eject the tape.
If problem still exist and camera shows error code "C:..:.." and beeps then it is problem of tape mechanism.

Tape problem, Elura 100

I called the factory and they said to send it in for evaluation.  While packing it up, I dropped it and lo and behold it started working.   Even though it started working, I decided to send it in to the factory and they found something "loose" inside and repaired it at no charge.

Tape won't come out!

I had the exact same problem, and just by dumb luck, I managed to get the tape compartment to pop open after trying hundreds of things. Maybe this will work for you too...who knows??? What I did was to first remove the battery and AC power to "reset" the camera (I guess). I then put the battery back in place and WHILE HOLDING THE CAMERA IN THE UPRIGHT (AS IF USING THE CAMERA FOR VIDEO) POSITION, I pushed the "Open/Eject" latch. VIOLA!!! Like I said, it may be dumb luck, but I haven't had the problem again. It may be that gravity helped to take the stress off the ejecting mechanism...dunno???? BTW, when I was having the problem, the mechanism would "click" 3 or 4 times while trying to move the tape out. Good luck!!! I hope this helps someone!
