If you have reset your code its usually the last 4 digits of your phone number. 123 4567 your code would be 4567

go to settings of ring tones and choise use as a ringtone

go recordings the click on it and click use tone then set as a ring tone can u rate me please

In my V-750, I just formatted the MicroSD card from my cell phone and put it into my computer, then dragged the MP3 files to the My Music folder. I didn't need any Motorola CD. Note the order, I first tried to just put the MP3 files on the MicroSD and it didn't work.

Later, I went to the Big Box store they suggested on the Motorola web site and I think I paid $20 for the official USB to Mini USB cable that fits my cell with software to make ring tones and transfers.

I had to remove my battery and re-insert it to get the volume controls to work for the speaker

To take sound files you have downloaded you have to move them to the phone memory instead of the memory stick. Also you have to send the sound to a MMS msg to yourself and then save it. It is very stupid and annoying that the manufacturer Motorola did it this way, they really shouldnt be taking the ringtone companies best interests over the end users.

to add ringtones and pictures you have to have the sidekick plan for your service. it comes with unlimited internet and free text. depending on what yur plan is depends on what the price is. my boyfriend pays a dollar a day for his prepaid sidekick plan which includes unlimited internet web and picture messages.
