Question about SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player
When i plug in my mp3 into my usb on my computer it brings up a window and says cannot install contact player manufacture. this is really getting on my nerves i have went to alot of websites and read the storys but it still hasnt helped! i even called the 1-866-sandisk and the man couldnt even help. wtf is there no driver i can download for window vista so i can add songs?
What i would recommend you to do is to uninstall the device and reinstall it back...tou uninstall it...assuming that you are running windows xp...click on start, right click on my computer and go to properties..you should have your system properties open then click under hardware then device manager...look for the sansa device..it usually located under portable device..if its not showing there i would recommend you to look for under disk drives and see if its there and also it might be showing with a yellow sign next to it.....right click on the device and click on uninstall...after you unintall it unplug your device from the computer and check to usb mode..it has to be under MTP mode or auto....after you check the mode open up your windows media player click on tools, options and click under privacy...clear the history and caches...
After that go to the microsoft website and download the KB891122 and Media Transfer Protocol Porting Kit...
Just click on the link below...
a) for the porting kit
