You've probably run out of memory.
The phone needs a certain amount of memory to function.

Error message "push the reset switch"

Pull the battery out to reset it. Get a DV tape cleaner to clean out the tape deck.

That should solve both.

KEEP ON PLAYING THE SAME RECORD

If it is a simplex mechanism then when a selection is made a small 'pin' pops up. The machine then sets going and an arm sweeps round until it bumps into the pin and then goes into the play cycle. The arm is stuck up against the pin because it hasn't reset and so it plays over and over.
Have a look on the right hand side, below the mechanism base board and you will see the circular solenoid selection assembly and the arm that sweeps round. Press the pin back down that is against the sweep arm and it should start working.

I hAVE 24 in DVD triple combo ^&@$DG TV. I put

You're describing what could be a loose or worn loading belt problem, most of the vcr mechanisms used in these combos use one to load the tape and thread it for it to play or record, that is why you have to keep puhing the tape untill the machine accepts the tape and you have to keep pressing play untill it starts the play function.

Recording

I'm going to venture a guess that what might have happened is you changed the mode of recording. VCRs record in either short play, or long play, or even super long play. As the length of playtime goes up, the quality goes down, because for short play, a 6 hr tape will record only two, whereas a 12 hour tape will record four hours. More information is stored on the tape, so the quality of picture and sound increase, but a longer movie could be cut off. You can adjust the play-length with the sp/slp buttons on your remote control.

My new RCA Model 25205RE1-1 1815MO does not want to record a OGA. It appears to be recording as it so states and counts the seconds as you are speaking. I press EXIT and the OGA is not played...

The RCA Manual in incorrect. Step 8 reads "Press Set/Save to start recording. Speak within 6 inches away from the Mic located under SPEAKER button." Step 9 reads "Press EXIT to stop recording." Step 10 reads "The OGA is played automatically for your verification. It will then return to the OGA REC menu to start over or to record another OGA."

Step 9 should read "Press Set/Save to stop recording and the OGA is played automatically for your verification."
Step 10 should read "Press EXIT if recording is acceptable. Press Set/Save if you want to re-record."

By following the Manual you never save your message. "Playback" always has the Default message that comes on the machine. Furthermore, Customer Service at 310-953-9028 doesn't have a clue.

How do I pause while recording?

As far as I can tell, and yes the documentation is skimpy, when you press the 'record/play' button the video recording pauses. Make sure you press the video icon button, not the 'record/play' button to get it started again. If you press the 'record/play' button, it goes into a 'play back' mode.

Hope this helps...

sounds like the video codec got scrambled. if you are running windows, then try using restore [start-programs-accessories-system tools-restore]. if you never turned restore feature on, then re-install the DVD software
