Re: my front panel won't light up, how can I remove to...
The "lights" below the buttons in the panel are LED's and are not replaceable, also they have a extremely long lifespan making it near impossible to wear out. If the panel isn't lighting up, your printer has another problem, not burned "lights".

Obviously the question was not answered correctly. I don't know how well you are versed into taking things apart, but here we go. First you need to unplug Sony. You need to remove the I/O panel on the bottom of the case after removing the front panel. Remove the on/off switch and remove the two lights adjacent to it. You gently pry apart the tabs on the back of the bulbs and pull the lights out from the back out of retainer. Do the same with the light that is burned out. Carefully cut or break the two cable ties and remove complete wiring harness. You need to remove the side Panel (right side looking from the front). Remove the air tunnel pieces (2 of them), The cable that needs to be unplugged from the motherboard. it is the very first along top edge from the left. It is yellow. Open the 2 tabs that hold all wiring down the front (you will see these just in front of CPU fan and behind front grill. Remove the harness. I do have the number in front of me but you can take the harness to Radio Shack and they can give you the correct one. Cut the old bulb off as close as possible. Solder the new one on and reverse the steps to reinstall. Once harness is plugged back onto motherboard, you can test by plugging power cord in and pushing power button. Make sure none of the wires are touching each other or any metal. Put it all back together and you will have blue light (light is not blue, plastic in front of it is). OR you can just use it without that light as it serves no purpose to be pretty and no one but you will know the difference. By the way I refurbish, repair, etc. nothing but Sony PCs. You also may be able to find a replacement harness but they are scarce. Hope this help. OH, the power supply or motherboard has nothing to do with this bulb working or not. If the other two (power on and hard drive activity) work, the bulb only, is bad.
"Replacing fog light bulbs on 2013 Santa Fe". Raise vehicle if you are a big person. In front of front wheels triangular plastic panels exists. Remove Phillips head plastic screws in chosen panel (2ea). Pull panel down. Stick hand through opening, remove wiring connector from bulb. (Bulb will not come out unless you do). Twist bulb housing counterclockwise and remove. Install new bulb, reverse procedure and don't touch the glass part of the bulb.
To replace the bulbs, your will need to remove the plexiglass front, then remove the logs and set them off to side where they won't get stepped on. Then lift up the plastic simulated ember bed. You now have access to the light bulbs. The required bulbs are 60 watt small base chandelier bulbs.
Hope this helped you, Margo. Thanks for choosing FixYa.
Unplug the dryer first, of course. With a putty knife, locate the clips under the front of the main top to release the spring clips. Lift the top and support it open. Disconnect any wire clips that are attached to the front panel, such as the door switch wires or wiring harness. There may be a zip tie attached to the wiring harness that you have to remove simply by cutting it off. On the inside, remove the front panel mounting screws down along the front inside edge of the panel. Pull the front panel up and out to remove. Disconnect the wires from the light bulb, carefully noting which wires go where, and press the release tab to remove the old light bulb housing. Install the new bulb and assembly by inserting it into the front panel and snapping it into place. Reattach the wires. Replace the front panel by aligning the slots at the bottom of the panel with the support clips. Lift on the front of the drum as you snap the front panel into place. Replace the panel screws and reattach any wiring that you disconnected to remove it. Rotate the top back into place, pressing down on the front to secure the spring clips. Plug it back in and voila! Good luck!
Most microwaves use a membrane type keypad that is glued to the front panel..they can be expensive though, but aren't too hard to replace...it involves removing the cover...unplugging the keypad ribbon cable...removing the old keypad...and reinstalling the new keypad
Front buttons . Remove the lower front speaker covers/panels by pulling . Then unplug connector ZF to the keypad . Then wait 3 minutes and try to turn it on with the remote . You may have to remove the access panel to find connector ZF (just follow the wiresdown from the front keypad). Don't touch , turn or break anything else while inside the access panel!
Let me know if that works
deep inside head unit at front is the led to replace .. likely soldered into a board there as a non replaceable part ..remove head unit ..disassemble to get behind front panel...good luck..maybe this is not a worthwhile project money/ time wise.... my 2 cents
