Question about Texas Instruments TI-30 XIIS Calculator
To do fractions, just use the normal divide button.
To see the exact answer, hit MODE and scroll down to Exact/Approx and change to EXACT. In this mode, it will give the fraction always unless you press the special (green button with diamond) before pressing ENTER and it will give the approximate decimal value.

Sorry about that, I gave instructions for doing fractions with a TI-89 grahping calculator.
For the TI-30X, the fraction key is in between the LN key and the DATA key. It is labeled as [A b/c]. For most fractions, like 4/3 all you need to do is enter it in by hitting 4, [A b/c], 3 wherever you need to have the fraction. For a mixed number, like 1 and 2/3, hit 1, [A b/c], 2, [A b/c], 3. It will default to giving you the number in its simplest mixed number form. If you really need it in a pure fraction (like 5/3 instead of 1 and 2/3) then when it gives you 1 and 2/3 hit 2nd [A b/c] and it will convert it for you. Occasionally, it will give you the answer in decimal form, which means that it had a numerator or a denominator that was too many digits to display, so it approximated it for you.
