can't use USB to PC

I had the similar problem before as in my moto razr v3, but then found the solution:
download the MOTO RAZR V3 usb driver software (or your specific mobile phone model) from nodevice.com.

then download your MPT or mobile phone tools software online, search through yahoo or google in quotes. here’s my source of free mpt software download because in case you haven’t noticed, there are sites claiming to provide you free mpt software but not! The link I posted here will direct you to an authentic and safe site download and will provide you safe softwares so in case your firewall or your default pc anti-virus like the kaspersky will react to its installment file, it’s alright to enable it.

download a torrent software support tool for this which is located to the site also. Mpt software should only be around 38-39MB.
Consider this, this torrent file has already a usb driver software for your moto phone so you can either use the 1 u downloaded from nodevice.com or the 1 dat will come with ur mpt software.

plug in your phone through the usb cable (any brand of cable, no need to buy the motorola a/b usb cable as what the company advertises). the PC will pop the message "found new hardware" you browse the folder where you have saved your usb driver software you've just downloaded. then click next. But in case it hasn’t reacted, just proceed into installing the mpt software.

afterwhich, as the PC have recognized the device. open your MPT software that you should have also installed on your PC after downloading them. the software will react to configure it to your device, if this part fails, click on (on the phone model thingy that should appear on your computer screen) MENU>SETUP>NEW PHONE then follow the instructions, it should automatically initialize your phone.


So again, here’s the basic instructions:
Download and install your usb driver software first
Then install your mpt software.
Plug in your phone via a/b usb.
Let it initialize, and then use it on your own advantage. This then would be easy!

Hello, first off you need Motorola Mobile Phone Tools on your computer. If you don't have the software, just go to your connection settings to the usb tab and open that, then choose usb mass storage as opposed to usb sync and you should be good. You computer should see your phone as a memory card.
