The pink wire is suppose to be for the brake switch, so you can watch an image while the brake is applied, you can simply secure it to an earth instead so you can have constant imaging. As for the reversing wire, this is if you have a reversing camera, it will show a display of what is behind you, if you don't have a reversing camera, just block the wire off.

What color wire do i hook the pink wire to

Pink wire is generally the parking brake safety. If you dont want the dvd player to play video while in drive wire it to the ground on your parking brake sensor wire. If you do want it to play video while your driving, wire it directly back to the ground wire on your stereo.

Hi all car dvd players have a emergency brake safety feature. The pink wire is to be spliced into your emergency brake wire, or there is a code you can purchase to bypass this feature.

Screen wont turn on..

Make sure the hand or emergency brake is engaged, but if you just install it you must connect usually the pink wire to the hand or emergency brake. This is for security purpose to watch any video you have to put you car in park.

Vm9312 pink wire

just go to the source screen, hit setup, then hit 5,4,3,2,1,0 on the remote control and a screen will come up. touch the hammer and screwdriver button on the left and it will have a thing called parking brake bypass and set it to on and click the x, this way it doesnt matter if u have the pink wire attached to anything.
