I do believe that you can contact the distributor in your area, or you can contact the manufacturer directly in Europe that will forward you to the nearest part supplier, do not forget to tell them where you live (city is enought) you have their contact in their webpage www.flama.pt .

Where can I buy new non stick replace grills for the Flama G1600?

unfortuntely, there is no customer support for this product line. You will have a very hard time locating parts. I know this is not a solution, but I thought you should know.....sorry I don't have better news.

Need to restore the non-stick surface on a GE griddle

Put a sheet of wax paper between the two plates for a few minutes while it heats up, then remove. It will transfer the wax to the grill so you'll temporarily restore the non-stick coating.

Looking for replacement parts for GRP99 Next Generation Grill

either replace them now if its too late, or give them a good cleaning, as you should have been doing all along. non-stick grates can be cleaned regularly by soaking in hot soapy water overnight after they cool and giving a good scrub with a stiff plastic bristle brush; others can be cleaned by cleaning with a stiff wire brush while hot. [if this is the method needed, be sure to remove any leftover grit by wiping with an oiled cloth, refolding to clean area on cloth as you go] BE CAREFUL OR YOU'LL LOSE ARM HAIR OR WORSE!!!!

Hi,
theres lots of posts here regarding george foreman products.
there does,nt seem to be anywhere to buy replacement parts.
I,d suggest buying a new alternative product, with a more stable background, and reliable service and replacement parts. i.e russel hobbs or tefal et,c.

Non-stick surface damage

Contact these guys and they should be able to supply replacement grill plates cheaply; http://www.esalton.com/control/contactus In general the current view is that low quality aluminium alloys, when used for cooking can put enough aluminium into the food over a long period of time to POSSIBLY influence certain conditions such as alzheimers disease, amongst others. There is a certain amount of aluminium in many things we eat or drink, regardless of what it is cooked in. If you use the grill every day then i would recommend replacing the plates, especially if the aluminium itself is becoming pitted, however I have used similar, lower quality grills before with coating worn and haven't gone mad yet. If in any doubt then replace the plates, but i think you are being over cautious here. If you find that food is now sticking to the grill, try grilling half a handful of salt with a little vegetable oil for 10 minutes or so, spread over the whole plate - a certain amount of "non-stick" can be achieved like this, although if cleaning the plates with detergent, this will soon need doing again. Hope this helps :)
