Information on att unlocking codes and puk codes

Ive noticed a lot of att phones that want unlocked for a different provider sim or phone is asking for unlock code. If you are trying to use a different providers sim card in the phone you will need to call att and answer a few simple questions and theyll give you the code and how to enter it into the phone. Dont keep entering codes in or it will permanently lock it to the network. If you already have att and your phone is asking for a puk or an unlock that you dont remember using youll also need to contact att. The puk they will be able to give if your able to verify your account, CAUTION do not keep entering in numbers for the puk code if you enter it in 5 times wrong youll lock it to the network and need a new sim/phone. If your phone is asking for an unlock code, its most likely one youve made up but if you dont remember making one up you can call att and they may be able to give you a default code, or find a way to get the code you need.

Sim network unlock pin

The phone will ask for "Sim network unlock pin" when you try other network Sim card on a carrier locked phone. To unlock the carrier lock of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 you can use unlock code. You can get the unlock code from MobileUnlockSolutions.com . There you have to give your Country and current network name along with your IMEI number to get the unlock code. Enter the unlock code when the phone asks for "Sim network unlock pin" to unlock it.

I bought one SAMSUNg SGH-J700i. When I am trying to poweron the phone it asks for Phone lock password which is 1234 and opened but immediatly it asks for SIM loack password. But I am not awrae of any SIM...

If u enter PIN code incorrectly 3 times, PIN will be blocked n phone will ask you for PUK(Personal Unblocking Key). This is a 8 digit code. If u enter Incorrect PUK for 10 times Your SIM will be lock permanently.

Your cell phone service provider can(Call from other no. n ask tell them for puk of ur no.) give you the PUK code aft3r answering simple security question.
Later enter PUK than enter new PIN, confirm new pin. Go to -Setting
-Security
-SIM lock
-off
Disable SIM n Later Phone Lock
PS:(You have to block your PIN to get access to PUK,
Default PIN- 0000, 12345)

IT SAY SIM LOCK AND ASKING THE CODE

This may not work on all Samsung phones!
THIS IS THE TEMP UNLOCK CODE FOR A SAMSUNG PHONE
Do this at your own risk:
Instructions
Press *#06# and write down your IMEI
Unlock Codes
Code 1: *2767*688 then your IMEI and then press #
For example *2767*688352708000828246# (Everything before the / for C225)
Code 2: *0141#
Code 3: 00000000 (8 zero's)
Entering the Codes
1. Switch your phone off. Remove the original SIM card 2. Insert another SIM card from an alternative network. Power up your phone. You should now see the "Wrong Card" message. 3. Type Code 1 into your phone, if this is entered correctly your
phone screen should now turn black and reboot itself. (C225 doesn't go
black but does reboot) 4. After the phone reboots the SIM card will be recognized and your
SIM will work. Be patient while your phone reboots and DO NOT press
any keys. At this point the phone is "Temporarily" unlocked.
5. Now at your idle screen type in Code 2 (*0141#) and hit the call button.
This should give you a message saying the phone is "Personalized". 6. Power off the phone and insert the original SIM, then power up. 7. At the SIM code prompt, it will ask you to enter a password. At
this stage enter Code 3. 8. After entering hit "OK" and your phone should complete initialization.

[/b]Instructions[/b]
Press *#06# and write down your IMEI
Unlock Codes
Code 1: *2767*688 then your IMEI and then press #
For example *2767*688352708000828246# (Everything before the / for C225)
Code 2: *0141#
Code 3: 00000000 (8 zero's)
Entering the Codes
1. Switch your phone off. Remove the original SIM card 2. Insert another SIM card from an alternative network. Power up your
phone. You should now see the "Wrong Card" message. 3. Type Code 1 into your phone, if this is entered correctly your
phone screen should now turn black and reboot itself. (C225 doesn't go

SIM will work. Be patient while your phone reboots and DO NOT press

7. At the SIM code prompt, it will ask you to enter a password. At
this stage enter Code 3.

8. After entering hit "OK" and your phone should complete initialization.

Your phone is now Permanently unlocked.

Another easy way is you put in a foreign sim put in the code *2767*2878# much easier and works just the same.

*2767*688 <your IMEI number>

Try with all the code to see whether you can get one to unlock your phone. If all still cannot help then you can only contact Samsung Support for help. I hope these information below at least can give you some hints:

Note try codes which help direct unlock for either SIM Lock or Security Lock first before try other codes

#7465625*638*00000000# (Clear Network Lock)
*#7465625# (Verify the network lock is “inactive”)

*2767*3855#
*2767*3855# - FULL E2P RESET
*2767*2878# - CUSTOM E2P RESET
