How do I change the date on a NEC Xen IPK 2 phone?

  • Anonymous Apr 23, 2010

This didn't work but my phone isn't called a IPK 2 - it's just a NEC Xen IPK. To change the time I press 728 but pressing feature 9 etc. to change the date doesn't work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Dtu 16d ringer is off at other stations. I need to get the phone to ring on the other stations.

Hello, That would be a system ring group programming feature. It would depend on the type of phone system you have. NEC Elite 192, Elite IPK, Elite IPK 2. There are different platforms and this would determine how to program it.

How do i change the time and date!? nec 80570

On an Elite or IPK phone system, which are just some of the systems that use this phone, you make the time change from one of the 2 main operator phones, x100 or x101. Without lifting handset, press Feature, 9, #, the phone goes into time program mode. Enter the hour and the minute, press Feature to exit and write OR press HOLD to get to date change, enter day of week as 1 through 7, HOLD, enter month as 1 through 12, HOLD, dial in year, and press Feature to write and exit. The other systems that use this phone aren't as easy. Good luck.

How to change from lunch to day mode

These phones work on about 8 NEC systems, but for a PRO II, an Elite, and an IPK, the standard code is Feature,80, Feature from one of the two main reception extensions. Don't know the code for a 2000, 8100, or IPK II.

Change time on phone system

Time and date is system wide programming and not the phone.
You need to read the Administration Guide that matches the phone system model you have. You also need to do it from the Administration phone, usually the 2 lowest ext #'s on the system.
NEC DTR16D Phones work on several NEC systems.
If it is an Elite or IPK then search internet for:

How to change time on NEC Electra Elite IPK? I

You have to be on the root phone or "first phone".
To check various phones -Hit {feature} 4.
Should display 100= TEL 01. Once on the first phone then use {feature} 9 #.
Time will flash at top of display and can be adjusted.

If you are not on the first phone you will get error at the top of the display. Leave the hand set on the hook.
