My radio went out after installing a new battery

It could be that a code needs to be entered to reactivate your radio. It is common nowadays, to encode all car audio devices so that if they are stolen, they will be of little value to the thief who will have difficulty selling them. There should be a code somewhere on the vehicles paperwork that includes such a code . It may be that , if your vehicle had a previous owner, they may know it. Also, many car audio installers can crack the code of a particular unit
Good Luck with it

Mercedes-benz audio 10 cd radio is asking for a code after i changed the battery. The radio MF2910 information is: model: MF2910 S/NO. AL291031294071

You must re-enter the unlock code since the previous input will have been erased when you disconnected the battery. Do a web search on your computer/laptop for " Car Radio Unlock Codes". There are several sites and you will be asked to provide the make and serial number of the radio. The Unlock Code will be sent to you in a very short time and when entered via the keys on the radio all will be well.

Previous owner put new battery in car, since then the CQC1303U unit will not work, not power. Fuse is not blown. Is there a code to reset? The car is a 94 Toyota 4-runner

did you try checking all of your fuses? there may even be an inline fuse to the radio. most radios require two power sources.

My battery went dead and I exchanged it with a new one, but after installing the new one the radio and drivers side window stopped working, I took the drivers door panel off and found a front door module...

The radio may very well have an alarm on it. If it does, then disconnecting the battery to put in a new one can set off this feature, and make the radio unuseable until a code is entered. Does the radio ask for a code?
A memory saver (aux voltage input device) can be used to keep enough power in the system so it will not trigger a radio alarm.
If you don't have a radio alarm, then check the fuse for the radio, as it may have blown when reconnected.
Not sure about the window.

Radio code on a 95 saaab 900 converable

It sounds like the fuse on the back of the radio is blown. You can pull the unit by inserting 4 straight rods (I use 4" long pieces of coat hangers) in the 4 holes around the outside of the unit, then gently pulling the unit out. There is a 10A fuse on the back of the unit that occasionally blows. Once that is replaced, it should demand the code.

It doesnt work after battery when dead in car.. i have no remote....i got it with the car and it worked great, now it just open up and nothing....

What has most likely happened is the when the car died it was probably jumped off. Anytime a vehicle is jumped off, especially off a much larger vehicle, a "jump" of voltage is sent throughout the vehicle also known as a surge. The surge travels through the vehicle's electrical system and sometimes blows bulbs, fuses and relays. The back of your radio should have a fuse check it because It's probably blown. If the fuse is good refer to your vehicle manual to locate the fuse panel and find the radio fuse it might be blown. Hope this helps

Check to see if your mute button is on. You may have to reset the radio, turn the radio off and disconnect the battery. This should reset the radio and you should not have to re enter the code, just make sure you have the radio off before you disconnect the battery. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
