Automatic dish Dryer will not shut off, cooked some plastic dishes

The only way to shut off the machine is to turn off the breaker, otherwise the dryer keeps running, even with the door open! HELP!

My best advice at this time is do not turn the breaker back on this unit i have been looking at the wiring on this unit and what your saying is happing should in no way be happing i really need your serial to see if its one of the units affected by the recall

according to the wiring diagram there no way this could happen its something strange out of the ordinary at this time i would suggest that you go to Maytag's web site enter you zip code and get an authorized maytag servicer to look at this in person and leave the breaker off its something out of the range of a normal problem in order for this to be happing both door switch's,the heater thermostat ,and the control bd would all would have to be bad at the same time that's just not likely or there is a short in the weiring harness under the door panel

It shut off as soon I push start on my new wave oven

Have you tried in in a different outlet??? Maybe too many things on the same breaker and it tripped??? Most microaves will draw about 12-13 amps, so depending on what size breaker you have it on you may not be able to have anything else on the same circuit.

I need instructions for 10in. microwave browner

Only place I've found is here: CorningWare Browner Instructions

As these dishes were designed by Corning for a 650 watt over, you can recalculate preheat and cooking times for your oven with the following formula:

650/(your oven's wattage) x (listed preheat time or cook time)

For example, for a Corning MW-9 dish, they list 4 minutes maximum preheat time. I have a 1,580 watt oven. So 650/1580 = .41 x 4 minutes = 1.64 minutes and about a minute and a half preheat. (MAX).

My single Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer DS603I (Integrated Panel) turns on by itself even after turning off the light switch that controls both units that sit on opposite sides of the sink. The...

Yes ,you may be able to restore function by completely drying the area and PC board located under drawer.Use a hair dryer.
However , you will still have a leak and the problem will return.Usually the leak is drawer lid not closing properly. Suspect lid actuators have failed.Very common.Or some kind of obstruction. The drawer can be removed easily by removing 2 large plastic scews at drawer front. If lid actuators have never been replaced go ahead and do that.It is normal for other drawer to work fine.

Hope this helps you

Thanks for using FixYa.
F1 error means that the flood switch has been activated. You'll need to reset it by powering off the breaker or by unplugging the unit from the power socket and mains for more than five minutes. Please check that there is no blockage in the drain hose and it is not raised higher otherwise the water will run back to the dishwasher. Also perform the following procedure---

    • Unplug power and remove bottom dish drawer
    • Use a Sponge and dry all the excess water underneath
    • Remove circuit board cover
    • Dry all around and underneath as much as possible
    • Apply hairdryer for 10-15min

Please click on this link to locate repair centers in Ukiah, CA. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Had the same problem and the answer is to stop putting plastic in the machine ! It seems the dishwashers need the heat radiated from the Ceramic plates, stell knives etc to help dry. The plastic simply absorbs some water and then your dishwahser spends most of its drying time trying to get that water out again. Also Plastic doesn't radiate any heat to help. As soon as we stopped putting plastic plates and tupperware containers in, hey presto the dishes are drying again

13 years old?!? LOL, you're lucky it turns on!!!

Pop the sprayers off and check for clogs. Otherwise, get a new one, this machine is way, way, way past its life expectancy.

The green indicator light "clean" is flashing and I am not able to start the dish washer

Go to your electrical panel and turn off the circuit breaker for your dishwasher [or remove the fuse]. leave it that way for two minutes and then put the power back on.. those steps should reset your machine.

I own a Advantium 120 Oven. I love my microwave however there are times that I need to stop the turntable in order to reheat or cook something in a casserole dish. How can the turntable be turned off?

I guess my problem cannot be fixed. I was told that my microwave turntable is automatic and cannot be turned off, therefore, if you have a 9 1/2 x 11 dish and need to reheat something it cannot go in the microwave because it does not fit .

Microwave turntable

The solution is very simple. Unplug the microwave first. Remove the round dish. Remove the circular riing with the rollers and set aside with the dish. Carefully with a butter knife, pry up the coupler and set aside. Examine to make sure it isn't broken or cracked where it slips over the motor shaft. Remove 5 Phillip head screws from the bottom pan and it hinges down out of the way exposing the motor. Remove 2 screws holding the motor, slip off the plastic dual flat connector and slip back onto a new motor $52.25 + shipping from GE parts. Remember your actual MW Model number is NOT XL-1800 but it is on a metal tag inside the MW on the left side. Put the motor screw in as removed so the shaft is free to stick up the hole in the bottom of the MW. Put the pan screws back up, put the coupler on, the ring in and then the dish and line the slots of the dish up with the star coupler so it catches. Turn on MW, touch the turntable button and make sure it is "ON" and not "OFF" and it should be, with the door shut, turning like a quiet little top as new.
