It isn’t your computer: this camera (although it is otherwise great) has serious interface issues with computers. Mine is driving me crazy and I am in South America, so all I can do is rely on these tech forums to try to get some clues. When I connect my camera to my computer, sometimes the computer sees it and it transfer files and edits just fine. Other times it sees and transfers, but then the software wont edit (says there is an error). Other times it sees it but the computer says it doesn’t recognize the device, and the software therefore wont run to upload the files. However, if I leave it plugged in long enough, *sometimes* like an hour later, it just all of a sudden recognizes it – but sometimes it never does, all day long. Sometimes I plug it in and it doesn’t show up on any drive at all, even if I change it from one USB port to another. There is a newer laptop here running Vista that never once has been able to see the camera, and an older one running XP that sees it every single time, but suffers a power surge because it is too old and tells me to unplug the device and reset the port and not to use it there again. When I can get my computer to recognize it, I immediately run the upgrade available on the site http://www.mysmallwonder.com/support/downloads.aspx and that usually fixes the problem for a few days – the computer can see the camera and recognize it for a few days – until it cant again! (Make sure to follow the instructions all the way through, which include disconnecting the camera from the computer and pressing the delete button on the camera after the download, and then turning the camera on again to finish the process.) The upgrade usually also fixes the software glitches (for when the computer recognizes it and I can upload videos, but not edit them, but today for example, the upgrade hasn’t fixed the glitches and I cannot edit at all. I am going to try deleting the RCA memory manager program and uploading again through the camera. One big problem I have is that I don’t have the original disk with me, so when the software goes psycho I have to download the program through the online upgrade that only will work when it interfaces with the plugged in camera – which depending on the day, may or may not be recognized by my computer, or even APPEAR on any drive. That’s where I am. Please let me know if anyone knows how to solve this.

My 1998 toyota canry timing belt broke. Is this an interferance motor? Did It destroy the engine?

no you most likely bent valves on inlet side, pull the head and check for any other damage it all really depends on the rpm when the belt broke. ( rate me thanks )

The drum does not spin, the blower works, the gas will fire up, belts look to be in tact but may be loose?

Most gas dryers have a tensioner on the drive belt under the drum a metal bar with a teflon pully that is spring loaded to tension the belt. Try spining the drum by hand if it spins freely the belt may have come off the tensioner or it may be streched. If it doesn't turn the drum rollers or bushing may be bad. Without a make and moddel # it's hard to say
Hope this helps

Agitator not moving

Sounds like your belt has either broke or just come off. Tilt machine back, look under for the belt. If belt looks Ok you still might want to replace it with a new one. Normaly when they fall off they have streched and will not saty on.

Blades do not spin fast enough to cut grass

If you got the right oem belt,ta\han you can look at the end where the cable attachs to spring and you should see a double nut adjustment loosen nuts and adjust to put more tension on the belt when you put lever into gear for blades to turn then retighten them .

The hard work is over! The old belt should pull out from the drum area if it is broken. There should be two ends to it now. Get a new belt and put it over the front of the tumbler. You should, (with a flashlight) be able to see where the old belt was running. Get the new belt close to that spot.. I believe your model ran with the smooth side of the belt to the drum.It will not look right to you, but the tensioner passes the belt through the pulley and motor pulley on the grooved side of the belt.Once the belt is on, reassemble the dryer front in reverse of disassembly.

Draining water from inside through center.

The tub seal kit is $85 USD, You will also need a drive bell kit$23 USD, you should replace the upper bearing $?, for a complete rebuilt I would also replace the brake pads all three, and the belt, maybe the pump if it doesnt come off easily. Plus what you break taking it apart, so we are looking @ least $150.

Yes you can do it yourself, you dont need the tub wrench if you can borrow a deep socket, its the drive bell seal tool you really need.

Please let me know if you have additional questions. the serial number will tell you the age first two digits are year next two are month, starts with and R, built in Ripon WI.

Broke sony

Defective mechanism, c:3123 error states that a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. pro service is needed.
