Do not understand how to create a playlist

Go to the song on the player that you want to add to a playlist. Press the setting icon in the top right corner and click "Add to My Playlsit" click "My Music List 1" a red dot should show next it if the song was saved to the playlist. Repeat this to all the songs you want on that playlist. Then just play the playlist, hope this helped if not let me know :).

Playing by album

To change the play mode on the GPX ML648B you need to play a song, hit the MODE button on the side of the player and select Play Mode.
The options are INTRO (this will play about 10 seconds of a song and then go on to play the next 10 seconds of every song.) NORMAL which will just continually play through everything on your device, Repeat One, which will repeat one song, FOLDER which I'm not sure of, FOLDER REPEAT which I assume repeates a folder, REPEAT ALL and RANDOM.

Hi!i cannot put a songs to my zen v plus...what will i do?

What you should do is to go to all tracks and play one so that it is in the 'now playing' section. Then, hold the return buttontil the menu appears. go on remove (this only removes from the playlist, not delete the file! trust me). then remove all. next, go back to the all tracks and hole return on the track you want to add to the playlist. Go down to 'add to selected'and it is in. (it will automatically select the next song so dont keep pressing should see the selection in the background move down). Do this for all the tracks u want. Go to now playing and hold return, then 'save playlist as', and save as the file. Then it can be accessed through the playlists menu. Hope this helps poeple!

Cant play songs off my playlist

You can thank Microsoft for creating Digital Rights Management.

Okay...I'm assuming this is an MP3 that you loaded using the Rhapsody-to-go or other music service that allows for subscription music.

What the MP3 player is telling you is that because you have subscription music and not purchased music, the DRM allows you to only play the song or songs 30-90 days after download. To continue to listen to the songs, you will need to open your Media Manager software (Best Buy Digital Music Service, Rhapsody, WMP11, Media Monkey, etc) connect your MP3 player to the PC, identify the MP3 player through the media manager and tell it to re-authorize your tracks. Once its finished you'll be able to play your songs for another 30-90 days. You will need to repeat this re-authorizing to continue to play the tracks.

Playing music on my ipod classic

I'm pretty sure you can't do this. At least, I haven't figured out how.

One thing you can do is make a playlist in itunes and drag several albums into it. Then your ipod can play the whole playlist. But this requires some forethought, since you have to set up the playlist on your computer.

Another thing you can do is create an on-the-go playlist right on your ipod. Here's how:

1. from the main menu, click music, then albums
2. scroll to the first album you want in your playlist
3. press and hold the center button until the highlight blinks. don't go into the album; you're pressing and holding on the name of the album
4. scroll to the next album you want in the playlist
5. repeat step 3 until you've got all the albums in your playlist that you want

Now, go to the main menu and press music, then playlists. Scroll all the way to the bottom and notice that you have a new playlist called on-the-go. If you go into it, you'll see that it has all the songs from all the albums you selected.

If you scroll past all the songs, you also have options to clear or permanently save the playlist.

Now you can play all those albums by selecting the playlist.

Again, it requires some setup, but it does enable you to play multiple albums without interruption. A nice side-effect of this method is that you can choose the order, whereas an automatic next album feature would play them in alphabetical order.

(FYI, you can add individual songs to an on-the-go playlist as well.)

And one final option: If you go to Music - albums - ALL, you can press play and it'll play your entire iPod in order. You can scroll to any song you want to start on, but you can't really scroll to the exact album you want to start on -- unless you know where to find the first song on that album.

I know that all three options are available in the latest iPod software. If something's not working for you, you may need to update your iPod's software through iTunes.

Songs wont change

It is stuck on "Repeat One" - refer to p.23 of your user's manual -
You can set your player to play music tracks randomly (Shuffle All ) or repeatedly (Repeat One or
Repeat All ).
1. From the main menu, select Settings > Play mode.
2. Use the VERTICAL TOUCH STRIP to scroll up or down the options.
3. Press § to select an option.
4. Press § again to deselect an option.
While you are playing music you can see the following active play mode screen.
