Re: printer want print
Hi, If you have tried turning the printer off and disconnecting from the PC for at least 5 minutes and that has not fixed it then you may need to uninstall the printer completely, restart you PC without the printer plugged in and then reinstall folowing the initial setup instructions. This may require you to install the software before you connect the printer. If you dont have these instructions, in most cases upon restart, you should be able to plug in the printer and the PC will find it and ask for the installation disc.

I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this
way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps.Bud
Well, for now it seems to be fixed - I opened up the paper tray and there is a little part that grabs the paper on the front of the tray - kinda sticky - I just took a paper cutter and put a couple of scratches on it and it is grabbing the paper for now. I do have some of those to use for replacements - but I had just changed it about a month ago and don't think it needed to be changed out again - they usually last quite a while. So, we'll see how long this lasts. We do a lot of printing on this thing and it has been a great printer - maybe we are just wearing it out!

3. Turn the printer off.
4. Turn the printer on.
There is something wrong with the printer. (I didn't write it, I am
pulling this from actual HP tech documents, so don't blame me on this
