I had approx 25 sheets of paper loaded into my printer and the next time I tried to print, the printer decided to take all 25 sheets at once and caused a paper blockage, I removed all 25 sheets of paper by force as it had locked solid about 2" inside the printer, now when I try to print with fresh paper I get the message paper not loaded correctly, it is but the printer will not take it. Could I have damaged something internal when I pulled the paper out ?

I believe this is going to be a software issue. Do a print preview of the booklet first to see if they are showing up in the right order. If they are, then it is a printer issues and I really can't help you there, but it they aren't then you know it might be a software issue. Check you formatting on the document before you trying printing it again.
I have had that same problem multiple times. I even tried to call & email Epson technical support...that did not help! Try turning off computer, unplug the USB cord from the back of the printer, uplug the power cord from your wall or power strip. Next, try plugging them all back in....in the same order (power cord, USB cord, printer on).
I am running Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 all updates and have been trying to
sort out the fake paper jam on my Epson R300. I tried compressed air
from my workshop compressor; believe me if anything was blocking the
feed it wouldn't after I blasted it lol! anyway I also tried running
some thick card through and still nothing, did some button pressing to
get out of maintenance errors and all sorts of other things. I was
about 5 mins away from reluctantly scrapping the printer when I
happened across SSC Utility.
I downloaded SSC Utility, but there didn't seem to be much that would
sort out the paper jam so out of curiosity I decided to click a few
things and then test the printer.
The only thing I ended up Clicking was 'Reset Protection Counter' and that worked, it printed out fine.
so that was my solution, we'll see how long it lasts.
Make sure the photo paper is not curling when it goes in. I had same problem before, with paper jam error even though the photo paper did not appear jammed. I noticed the photo paper was slightly curled, so I flattened it out and that solved my problem. Also, if you are loading multiple sheets at one time, try just loading one sheet and see if that fixes it.
Change the paper settings in the driver when you go to print. If you have it set to 10x15 it will only print a 10x15 patch in the corner.
Go to START, PRINTERS AND FAXES then right click on R300 and select PROPERTIES. Click PRINTING PREFERENCES and set the correct paper properties. Click OK all the way to desk top and the settings will be saved.
On the printer panel press ADVANCED, scroll down 3 times to PAPER SIZE and press OK. Select A4 and press OK.
