Question about Sony Mavica MVC-FD90 Digital Camera
Camera won't stop flashing disk protect with the disk
These old electronics tend to be tempermental, just like my old 1988 Nintendo....when the problem persisted, I held the disk slot open and went Nintendo-style on it (blow the dust out of the disk slot). That cleaned off the disk reader. I put the disk in, and it started reading the disk instantly.

YES..It works great with a "dirt blow-out" ! I tried several things before...checking the floppy "lock" tab, taping the open tab, looking for old Low Density disks, and switching back & forth from memory stick to floppy...blowing out the dirt worked instantly! I think these are great cameras, as long as I still have a floppy drive on my computer.
