Check for updates or just update adoe flash player
Adobe Flash Player allows users to view videos made with Flash, a common online video format that can be viewed by both Mac and PC users.

Because technology is consistently emerging, Adobe frequently updates its Flash player. Downloading an update is free, and may be required in order to watch videos online.

You will need at least 128 MB of RAM available on your computer to update Flash player, and Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later for Windows XP, version 7.0 or later for Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 8.0 or later for Windows 7.

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Adobe's Flash player download site.
Click the download link and follow the instructions on your screen.

Click "Allow" or "Install" if your security system asks if you want to download the file.
Avoid running other programs while the download is going on.

Flash player tests itself by showing you a brief video when the download is complete.
If you do not see this video, the player has not been successfully installed and you must try the download again.

On computer not receiving newscasts past 1-5 on yahoo newspage

I have this problem, also. It seems to have something to do with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1. On other browsers (Firefox/Chrome), this doesn't seem to be a problem. Guess we wait on Mikeysoft to fix the problem in IE11 or use another browser. This assumes they are aware the problem exists.

As for myself, I generally wait a few months after they release or update something before I use it, to let them work some of the bugs out...

I can't watch videos on my computer, such as youtube, news, etc. I don't have any problems with Netflix. My computer is 7 yrs old and except for that problem it works just fine

Your computer needs to have Java and Adobe Flashplayer installed in order to watch YouTube videos. You can get Java here:

Get Adobe Flashplayer here:

Uncheck the box next to the free Google Toolbar if you don't want it in your browser.

Stuttering videos on you tube

There could be a number of different problems;
1: Connection issues; is your internet service slow?
2: Processor; what's your processor's clock speed vs the video quality?
3: More RAM could never hurt to fix the problem. My advice to you is to pause the video and let it load entirely / buffer and all that.

YAHOO! News Videos will not play.

It is just because of yahoo limitation. Yahoo video library is limited to certain country depending on its video. Try the vedio which belongs to your country.
