Question about Toshiba e-STUDIO 16 Printer
Having problems printing to Toshiba e-studio 16s copier. I have setup an IP address on the printer and able to ping the ip address from all my workstations running XP.
Setup the printer and pointed to the ip port. in the printer list it shows as ready. But when i send a test print it sits in the print queue on the workstation and eventually comes up saying it had problems printing to the printer.
I can use the web interface and can go and look at the setttngs too. I am using the right driver too.
start, printers and faxes
right click on the print driver , go down to properties click
click on ports
click configure port
click lpr in protocol
Lpr queue name PRINT
LPR byte counting enable
Try this and make sure your ip address is correct

Do you have the print enabler? These printers have to have a special usb thumb drive type deal that enables certain features like network printing and scanning. If you don't have one, its not going to print. Do your research before buying one if you do need it because they are not generic, they are specific for each printer module and even firmware version.
