Where can i get a new outer casing from as mine is broken in 2 thank you

check HT leads. Mine had a split on the outer casing, I replaced with new ones and the problem has now gone. (I had this last week on mine)

Using a hack saw, cut through outer casing in cable a couple inches down from broken end on the cable that is broken. Be careful to only cut through outer casing & not cable inside. Then use vise grips to pull cable to open hood.

The handle is very easy to replace, you will have to get a new one , it comes as an assembly. To replace it open the door, and at the top inside you will see 5 screws, remove them, you will then be able to tilt the top plastic outer piece forward and expose the handle assembly, remove the 2 screws holding the assembly in and install new handle, reinstall front and screws you removed , your done !

1) The Electrical panel on the side has a black bar that is the mounting bracket. It is only clipped in place on the plastic outer casing. the black metal bar is attached with 2 shoulder screws. these probably just worked themself loose nad dropped out. Go to your dealer parts counter and ask them for the 2 screws. Remount the black bracket and then re clip the case to the bar.

The internal antenna BNC connection (the little steel bayonet that the secures the antenna or extender cable) is a common failure on these units. The threaded retaining ring on the outside of the antenna BNC comes loose when installing/removing the antenna connection, and eventually the BNC rotates and the solder joint inside fails. This happened on mine recently, if you are handy fixing small mechanical parts and a good solderer it is pretty  easy to fix. Remove the batteries, remove all six outer case screws (but not the one with the oval metal plate) and gently pull the housing apart. Check the solder connection of the coax wire to the BNC pin & shield. If it's broken and the BNC is loose in the GPS case, tighten the outer BNC retaining ring VERY tight, add a drop of thin super glue (Hot Stuff or Permabond CyA, etc) to keep the ring/BNC/case mated, then repair the coax solder  connection. Replace all the screws and test it outside. If it's an aviation GPS you would of course have this done by an FAA licensed avionics specialist. Wink wink.

If its a front loader, it may be the outer plastic casing that is broken. You need to take the whole front off. Call a repair man....Mine has cracked, and needs replacing, I have only had the machine 8 months.

It could be that the outer casing is broken or the disk isn't spinning right inside the outer casing. I had this problem with a game my friend gave me. The case was broken so it didn't work. If the disk doesn't spin fast enough, it will cause a read error . I learned this also. I have seen replacement cases for psp games so you can always put the game in another case.

yea youl need to replace the tub alright, cgances are the bolts holding the inner tub to the transmission shaft have also broken off, which is why the inner tub spun off kilter and rubbed a hole in the outer tub,. the bolts (2 of them ) woulds have benn locking the inner basket to the tranny shaft, visible after removing the agitator

i have the same problem....i am currently trying to get mine fixed. Sandisk told me to take a picture of the broken mp3 player and send it to [email protected], i have sent it to them 8 times within the past 2 months and they still said they have not recieved it. let me know if you find anything out...
