I have two brand new Price Pfister 042-VGCC faucets and the cold water side comes out really slow. All other fuacets work great and hot water is fine. I disconnected at the valve under the sinks and there is plenty of water flow there? Is there a defect with the faucet?

Check the supply line and valve to see if any dirt or foreign.matter got into the line or valve when you changed out your faucet. if this is not the problem you may have a faulty faucet. You may be able to back flush the faucet with a garden hose by leaving the hot side open, but you will get wet. If you used Teflon tape on the supply line and it is a compression fitting, some of the tape could be blocking the water. for more info go to waterheaterflush.com

I have a single handle price pfister shower valve Model 17196-0100k .No cold water.It's coming hot on both sides.

If you have full pressure on the cold water side and low pressure on the hot side then you well need to remove and clean or replace the cartridge for the hot side. If you have low water pressure on both sides try removing the aerator and cleaning it.
If you need to replace the cartridge on the hot side do both sides while you at it.
Whenever you work on any faucet before you turn the water on remove the aerator and run the water for a few seconds then replace the aerator.

You will need to take the faucet apart and clean it out. If the faucet is a few years old I would just replace the cartridges and be done with it.
When the water heater was replaced the lime build up in the piping was dislodged and I bet the faucet you are having a problem with was the first faucet used after the new water heater was installed.

Make sure that the valve under the sink is fully opened.

Remove and clean the Price Pfister aerator. Turn the water on after you remove the aerator and check the flow-rate. Many new Lavatory and kitchen faucets are now equipped with Eco friendly water saver aerators. if the flow is normal without the aerator, the faucet is OK. if you want more water flow from your lavatory faucet, you will need to buy one of the old style high flow aerators from your hardware store. If you remove the aerator and still get low pressure from both hot and cold faucets, you may need to replace the faucet. Call the Price Pfister warranty phone number that came with your faucet.

Remove the cartridge and rinse it in another sink. If you have hard water, soak the cartridge in vinegar for a couple of hours.

Check to make sure the areator on spout is clean and free from sedement.
