You can splice the wires back together. you can get an insulation sleeve in the automotive audio section at walmart that you heat after putting in place. you need to make sure the wires are fully insulated after the splice or you will have distortion to you music at higher volumes.

Buzzing noise coming throught my headset on my turtle beach x1 headphones

Check if the buzz stops when you remove the talkback cable. If so, then try a wireless controller if you're using a wired one. Also, don't use a play and charge kit because it causes a lot of buzz on the headset.

My turtle beach x1 mic will not work

Have you tried using your X1 on your PC? Try connecting your X1 to a PC and speak into the X1 mic. Can you hear yourself in the headset? If yes, then the X1 mic and headset are OK but you need a new chat-controller cable. If not, then you should contact Turtle Beach about it --- [email protected].

My turtle beach x1 wont turn on?

The green light (or red if it's muted) should glow on when you plug in the USB. If it doesn't, it means there's a problem with the power feed to your X1 and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support to get it fixed.

Turtle beach x1

Remove the four screws on the bottom of the amplifier unit. Separate the top and bottom plastics. Put a drop of alcohol into the mic switch then move it back and forth a bunch of times. This should remove the residue from the dog **** that accumulated on the switch contacts.

Dog chewed through Turtle Beach X1 wire any advice on fixing??

Your best long term fix will be to solder the wires together then tape them individually and finally tape the whole thing. Second choice will be to use crimp (**** splice) connections and then tape. Last choice will be just twisting stripped wires together and tape everything.
