There is usually an IP address you have to type to get access to this hardware. Often you don't need the CD to install this hardware. The IP address is usually 192.168.0.1 for routers. Sometimes they differ. To find out if you go to start then run. When a box appears type in there cmd then press enter on your keyboard. This should bring you to DOS. Black page with white text. If you type into that box ipconfig and then press enter on your keyboard. The IP address you see net to the default gateway is your router address. Writed down those numbers and that box you are in just type the word exit and press enter on your keyboard and that box will disappear.Type that IP address into your address bar by opening up your browser. This will bring you to the hardware page of your router. You can do all the confguring from this page. Sometimes a box with user name and password appears. The username is usually admin and the password is either password, admin or these is no password so you just press enter on your keyboard and then when you're in start configuring. Run the setup wizard first before you do anything else. Then I would go to wireless and password protect your network. I usually password the router as well. This option is in the setup wizard you did earlier. Good luck

I have a problem with my Colubris installation: As long as the accesspoints are on the same subnet, everything works fine. When I put an accesspoint on a different subnet, the wireless users (connection via an employers SSID eg. only authentication) get an IP-address and all, but cannot access anything on their LAN. Any ideas? :)
