Question about Garmin StreetPilot c340 GPS Receiver
I want to know if I can plug the unit into my plug that says from 12V to 120V since your connector states it is 250V? Can't find anything in the package to tell me about this.
Only use Garmin approved power connector either AC or DC (cigarette lighter adapter), otherwise you risk ruining your unit. The DC power adapter actually step down the voltage from 12vdc to 5vdc. Using anything other than a Garmin approved adapter can fried the unit.
