HP 6110 scanner wizard

The printer will come with scanner software or you can use the Windows scanner program on the Accessoried menu. It will say Scanner and Camera Wizard. You need to load the drivers first.

You need to install the Mirascan driver first and then install the scanner manually.

1.You need to download the MiraScan v3.424. ftp://12.145.38.159/scanner/drivers/parallel/mirascanv3424p.zip

2. Unzip and install the MiraScan driver and it will prompt for an add scanner wizard.

3. Proceed with add an imaging device.

4. Then the Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard comes up. Click Next at the bottom.

5. On Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard,You need to select the option where you can choose a "Manufacturer". Locate EPPSCANNER. For the "Model" option, select color flatbedscanner. Proceed with the final steps of the wizard.

6. Restart your computer and then test scanner.

Please follow the steps given below to add the scanner using Scanner and Camera wizard.

1. Plug your scanner into your computer.
2. If your scanner is "Plug and Play," the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" starts or double-click add device. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Note:

1. To open "Scanners and Cameras," click "Start," click "Control Panel," click "Printers and Other Hardware" and then click "Scanners and Cameras."
2. If you have a "Plug and Play" scanner, Windows detects it and installs it automatically.
3. If your scanner is not "Plug and Play," follow the installation instructions that came with the device.
4. If your scanner is not listed in the "Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard," try to install it using device manager.
5. After you install your scanner, you can test it.

1. How is your printer connected to computer? (USB or Network)
2. Have you installed Full feature software?
3. If you are connected with USB cable make sure the cable is connected directly to the printer without any USB hubs.
4. What is the OS?
5. Are you able to copy a document on the printer (stand alone copy)?

plz try by download the software from the manufacture website

Open Paint, from Start>All Programs>Accessories and select File>From Scanner or Camera...

if u have proper installed scanner u see your scanner in my computer .
so u got scsner and camera wizard in my computer.then u opoen it and then folow the procedure.

I also have this problem. Try going to
-Start
-Programs
-Accessories
-Scanner and Camera Wizard.

I can get my scanner to work through the wizard when it won't work by just pressing the scan button on the printer.

The scanner and camera wizard is a portion of Windows XP & Vista.

If you go into the control panel, you'll find it in there. If you double click on it, it should locate your scanner and you should have functionality this way.

If you're pressing the scan button on your printer and getting this information, try opening HP Solution Center and clicking "Scan Picture" in there and see if it is any different.

Please open HP director from Start - All programs - HP .

Click Scan document to scan.

You can scan by following steps :
For Windows XP:
To isolate the issue I suggest you to try scanning from the Windows Image acquisition(WIA) wizard on the computer.

Follow the below steps to Scan using WIA
1.Verify that the all-in-one product power is turned on and the printer cable is properly connected.

2.Click Start then Click All Programs then Click Accessories then Click Scanner and Camera Wizard.

3.Follow the Scanner and Camera Wizard instructions to scan images to the computer.
