Changing Default Settings

normally when you go to the setting and then go to music then power up song you can change what song plays when the ipod turns on. hope this helps. if it doesnt im sorry :(

Your Samsung Hue can only play MP3 encoded files (extension mp3). If you have taken music that has been ripped using the windows media player, the default rip settings put the tracks into windows media audio format (wma) which your phone cannot read. You'll need to find a free wma to mp3 converter and convert your files to load onto your phone. You can also set Windows Media Player to default to MP3 when ripping under the Tools|Options menu item. Look under the RIP tab and change the default format to MP3. If you are already using MP3, it is possible that you are using to high of a Kbs rate on your MP3's in which case you'll need to be sure you rip tracks in a lower Kbs rate (also under the RIP tab in Windows Media Player). this is because your mp3 player isn't meant to play video songs. its an MP3 player, meaning it won''t play AVI video files.

If this is a USB MP3 player and you have unwanted songs on it, you might try plugging it into your computer and formatting it like a portable hard drive. This should reset everything back to a factory default and then the computer and the MP3 player should get along better. Good Luck

Most probably you accidentally switch the play mode to " INTRO" check your display if it does indicate Letter " I" in it. if does any music you play will be in "INTRO" mode. IF you still have the manual for your player check the 'PLAY MODE" setting. From this setting you can choose play mode from "FOLDER" "NORMAL" "INTRO""REPEAT 1" REPEAT ALL" to play in continuously select "NORMAL" mode.

I'm not sure if your player do have the same procedure in changing play mode . But try this , while on play mode . Press menu and a dialogue box will appear scroll and select "NORMAL"

I managed to get this sorted by changing the default setting in windows media player from ripping the CDs as a wma protected file to a mp3 file.

I HAD A VISUAL LAND MP3 PLAYER. ONLY PLAYED FIRST 10 SECONDS OF SONG. IT IS SET TO INTRO. WHILE THE SONG IS PLAYING PUSH THE BUTTONS AND YOU WILL SEE THE OPTIONS COME UP. SONG HAS TO BE PLAYING. CHANGE FROM INTRO.

This is the default settings in the player cannot be changed

If you didnt change the default settings for Windows Media Player, it is set to "copy protect my music", which would cause this error. To change the settings go to Windows Media Player>Tools>Options>Rip Music and uncheck the "copy protect my music" box. You will need to delete the previously transferred music from your device, re-rip them to your PC, then re-transfer them to your device. Best of Luck.

If you used Windows Media Player to "rip" (copy) the music to your computer. The default settings are to "copy protect my music" if you didnt change this setting, the Sansa will want a "license" to go with it. Resolution, change the setting in Windows Media Player, Tools>Options>Rip Music (uncheck copy protect my music). You can also change the default rip setting to Mp3, as opposed to Windows Media Audio. Then you would have to re-rip the tracks to your PC, as unprotected. Make sure you delete the old tracks from the device, otherwise, it will always give you that error message. Best of Luck.
