Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3i Cellular Phone

1 Answer

"busy" camera hi...i could no longer use the camera and video on my motov3x...every time i open it.. a "busy try again" message is my camera damaged or this is a software problem in my phone?...i already tried resetting it...i just bought this phone...thanks When I use the upper left soft key, the screen goes black with a small camera icon, then within less than 1/2 second, the phone screen returns to the main menu. If I drill down to the camera function via menus, then when I select camera, the screen goes to black with the icon, then displays an error message "Busy. Try again later". I called Motorola and all they could suggest was to go through the "master reset" process, which I did, with no impact on camera function. The only alternative for me was to send the phone in to Motorola for service (since I did not buy the phone from my service provider who would handle any warranty service) and that they would charge me $75 to evaluate the problem and advise me of the cost to fix the problem. I only paid about $100 for it (V3i) and I don't really have much need to use the camera, so I guess I'll just live without it, unless someone comes up with a fix on this blog.

This message displays any time i try to access the camera. "could not start the camera. close other applications and try opening the camera again". please help.

This is what you should do, press and hold the menu key.. you'll get a display in a rectangular form with all programs that are currently running on your blackberry.

You can scroll through the open applications and for you to close all running applications, you'll have to click on your trick ball to get you to that open application and then you close it.

Go over the process of holding the menu key for about 10 seconds again until the rectangular window opens with applications that are currently open.

Click on another program and close it.... do this for all the applications until your have about 4 applications running. Once it's reduced to this you would be able run your camera.

Camera Is Not Working

Is the memory card full? try removing some files on and try opening the camera again, normally if the space in full it takes time to initialize.

Camera & video camera not working

I had the same problem with my L6 too.
I rushed to the nearest service centre. There they inspected it and told that the camera has been damaged and it needs replacement.
And i replaced it and now there is no problem with that.
So, i suggest you to change the camera for your L7 mobile in an authorized service centre.

Hope my info is useful.
