I have Sony TV model KDF-42WE655 which stopped working. No display and when powered on, the green light comes on and blinks approx 50 times and turn red (blinking red). How and what do I need to buy to fix it. Thank you Harry

Replace its lamp as existing lamp has been reached at end of its working hours life and need to replace to solve this issue. Please note lamp is not not broken or dead yet so you do not see lamp light on tv front.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual.
Please buy Sony original lamp for god picture in tv.

Your tv is a projection one - it uses a very powerful lamp/bulb to generate the light that used for the image. In your tv that bulb has died and must be replaced - it will cost about $200.

Ur Lamp reqiure changing.The LED light in front blinking said lamp?Must change the lamp.

Reset the Audio back to factory setting.Should work, some wrong setting in ur setting.

Replace your lamp if you had it more the 3 years.

Does the light that blinking,the word in the frame said lamp on it?Than yes,no word in the frame said lamp on it.Than u have a power board prob.

WON'T STOP WORKING BUT IT WILL GET WORSE, THE LIGHT ENGINE IS GOING BAD

You probably need a new lamp

Bad lamp and/or lamp driver. Try replacing the lamp first.
