Question about Pioneer AVIC-D3 Car DVD Player

US version in Europe

I buy Avic D3 on teh Ebay ... its US version ...

- i want make change region code on DVD from 1 to 2
- RDS on AM/FM tuner
- make functional European DVD navigations with TMC

please help me ...

Hi,

I also tried playing the European East DVD without success.
FM goes by increment of .2, impair. i.e. you can not get 98.2.
You can only have 98.1 or 98.3.
Calling Pioneer Us did not help.

I have a problem with my pioneer avic d3 it has amessage on the screen asking me to insert the correct disc i only have one what shall i do?
You can get the most current up to date copied version on Ebay for about $15-20. Goodluck.

There is an update on ebay and other sites for about $250. Also try the pioneer web site. If this is new construction, it probably will not be available for atleast another year.

Region problem
Try this for the tuner fix. Turn unit on.Hold down (volume down and SRC )buttons and unit will power off.Keeping them in also press and then release the reset button(bottom right hand side) .Release the other 2 buttons and unit should now restart with 50khz fm spacing and 9khz am spacing.If you find out how to change region code,Post It

I have a Pioneer AVIC D3 in dash sat/radio/dvd/navi/monitor in our motorhome. It has stopped working as a rear view monitor. How do I fix it? This unit used to work as a rear view monitor as we drove down the street but it recently stopped that function. It does work as a back up camera and side view turning monitor. Do you think I'm overlooking something? I just finished connecting the Pioneer Car DVD player, when completed, I reconnected all A/C connectors, hazard connections, and misc. connections. When I powered the car, I noticed my A/C is no longer powering on. I disconnected the wires again, and reconnected them again and still its not working.
