first, u would have to go into the media folder of what u want to receive. for instance u want to receive a ringtone, go to media then ringtones. go under device memory and press the menu button. scroll down and u should see "receive using bluetooth". the phone that you're receiving from should already b sending the info and should connect. you can do that 4 pics, videos, ringtones, songs, etc.
u set the ringtone from mutimedia>sounds, ussally while playing the will be option "set a ringtone" not from digital audio player, directly from sounds.
motorola does not accpet viruses infected files or their phone must be trying to send virus attachment or ur phone memory will be full.
before you try to send him ringtones. under the connections menu turn both bluetooths on. at the same time on your husbands phone push the find me icon and on your phone push add new devices. yours should pick it up.
What are you trying to send? Picture, video, ringtone, app? For a ringtone, go to the Media Finder, select ringtones, then "All Ringtones" and scroll to the one you want to send. Hit "options" and scroll to the option "Send" Select "Send" and one option should be "send Via Bluetooth"
The process should be similar for other sendable items.
to send ringtones using multi-media message, you need to check with your carrier/srvice provider if they support this feature on your phone.
if you are trying to send using bluetooth, power off your phone and take out the battery for few seconds put the battery back in, power on and try sending. if does not work, reset the phone to its original manufacturer setting.
