Re: I cannot get it to work! with Audible

This is not helpful at all! I bought a $20 book from Audible, Ursula Le Guin's Wizard of Earthsea, and it just tells me "product not activated" when I tried to play it after copying the downloaded file to the player.

It even asked me for the format of my player—why bother when it's incompatible?

How do I activate a sandick clip sport mp3 for downloaded audible books

Hook it up to Audible Manager on your computer. Add the Device under Devices tab, and Add New Device. Click on SanDisk Digital Players. It will shut down AudibleManager. Connect mp3 player to computer. Restart Audible and it will recognize the player. Drag items from your library to the player. I had to delete books from the mp3 player directly within AudibleManager so Audible didn't get confused.

My Cowon D3 is frozen and my computer doesn't recognize it. What do I do now?

Have you tried restarting your device by removing the battery? Also if you are running vista, you may need to download the driver files from the manufacturer's website.

Wont download audi books from audible manager

Make sure audible manager is recognizing your player, if so please give a more detailed description of your problem (error messages) etc.

If audible manager is recognizing your player you highlight which book you would like to add then click the add to player button.

Hope this helps.

Philips SA304X and audiobooks

It does not support Audible. I have funny insider information on this - Philips originally planned to make it Audible compatible, and even added an Audible folder. In the end, they didn't seal the deal and sent out players that were not compatible with audible, but have an Audible folder in them. LOL.

A workaround is to download audiobook files in mp3-only format. You won't be able to use them like an audiobook, but they will be available for lsiten.

Can't play downloaded audiobook

I'm having problems with audible books myself but I think I can help you with your problem. The audible website should have demanded that you download the audible manager. When you open this program (if you haven't already done so) you need to add your device from the menu on the left side of the screen. Follow the directions (I don't think I need to walk you through that) and once your device is now listed in that menu on the left side of the screen right click on it and select activate device. It will then prompt for your audible user name and password. Having done that your device should play the file if it is indeed audible compatible. if that doesn't work you're sol.

GOGEAR SA 3345/37 - Computer is not recognizing player as a player

The 5125 recognizes copyright-encryption and has an Audiobook feature

The 3345 does not recognize copyright-encryption, and does not support audiobooks - if you want some laughs - the file system in the 3345 has an Audible folder, but the player does not recognize Audible - it was a design fluke

Fedora recognized the device, but music files not shown

Switch the player to File & Folder in the menu settings:
MENU - Settings - USB - File & Folder

This shoulds like it's in MTP mode which is for DRM content and sync with a media manager program.
