Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone
Hi, I have had my orange LG enV(verizon) for about 5 months now and it hasn't started doing this until about a month ago. I have a chip to go in it so it could hold more stuff...but every time I want to add a new ringtone it always tells me"Phone Memory Full" and I'll try to save it to sounds but it says that it can not be saved to my card.Well my friend just got the exact same phone as me recently and she already has more ringtones, sounds, and pictures than me,and she doesn't even have a card! I really need to know what's going on with my phone because it's making me furious!
Wow. Some of you are retards, sorry, but you don't know how this phone works.
A) Auto-Save if for SENT messages only. If it is on, it will save your sent message in the sent box. if set to off, then it will not show any sent messages. If set to prompt, then it will ask you after the message is successfully sent from your phone to the Verizon network.
B) Auto-erase is for INBOX only. It will automatically erase the last message in your inbox when it reaches it's max capacity.
C) The LG EnV can accept up to 4GB of memory. (hollowtech2, you are the ****** i mentioned above, don't pur information you have not confirmed. people will dissprove you, and you will be embarrassed.)
D) i am still looking to solve the text messgae save limit problem. i will post it when i find out.

You didnt change the save options for your pictures videos and sounds when you got the memory card therefor it still is storing everything on the phone. In order to change the save options goto menu, settings and tools, memory, save options, and set them all to card memory. Now ringtones still will never be saved to the card so in order to make room for them you have to go into your pictures sounds and videos and goto options move. you will probably have to do that for each picture but it will work like a charm

In the main menu go to tools and settings, then hit 8 for memory, hit 1 save options and make sure all three options - Pictures, Videos, and Sounds are selected to card memory by using the up down key to place the dot in the "card memory" circle to make your choice and selecting ok. The mini sd slot will only read mini sd cards up to 1 gigabyte in size. if your card is larger it will only read 1 gig, there is a way to flash the firmware but i am unsure exactly how and that may be risky if you are new to programming. good luck hope this works out.
