Gas comes on heats up heat exchanger, blower starts up runs for a little while then shuts off, but the gas is still being called to the heat exchanger. so you have to manually shut the furnace off because the blower will not come back on. the board has been replaced as well as the motor.

The technician sould have replaced the circuit board with part number CESO11057-02 which contains a diagnostic LED that will blink out a code when a fault is senced. If not we have to diagnose the hard and costly way, test each circuit.

There are only a limited number of reasons why the blower would stop running, one being a bad blower relay and another being a overheating of the motor inself causing it to shut off on internal overheat. The relay is part of your circuit board and the overheat is inside the motor, both of which you had replaced. Has anyone checked for a restricted air filter or supply/return restriction? Loose wire?

I'm guessing now. Good Luck and let us know what you find.

Carrier weathermaker I have model #48dp016520 I don't hear any blower heat coming in. What would be the problem

The thermostat may not be sending the heater control relays power. The heating element or the gas valve may not be functioning.

Ruud 80 plus furnace

Make sure you give it time. Gas furnaces ignite first and then the fan comes on. It will run for a while to heat the exchanger first. If the fan comes on with the heat it will blow cold initially. The fan also continues to run after the burners shut off to expel the existing heat in the ductwork

The pole buiding 24 in hanging Dayton sometimes the blower comes on like after 5 minutes after everything else kicks in and sometimes like when its supposed to and sometimes not at all?? All the electric...

I'm not sure whether this is a gas unit or not. With many gas heaters, the blower comes on when the heat exchanger gets hot enough and goes off once the heat exchanger cools. Other things are happening before the blower goes on. The blower is normally controlled by a "fan control thermostat". This stat actuates the blower when the furnace is hot enough so that cold air is not being blown around and allows the blower to run until the furnace cools enough to get out the remaining heat after the flame shuts off but not so long to again allow cool air to blow around. If this fan control is malfunctioning, you will get erratic runs from the blower or the blower may not run at all or run long or continuously. The fan control is the first thing to check.

The fan limiting switch is acting up. It should stay running until lower temp is reached. It will cycle until the temp stays below or at the low setting. Limit switches are adjustable.

If you are running it in the cooling function, your drain maybe backed up. Find your drain outside if you can and suck it with a shop vac.
