You can find replacement cords for many counter top appliances at most appliance and building supply stores. Try Ace, Home Depot, Lowes. Take the cooker with you to make sure you are getting the correct cord.

Hello Sarah,

Check the power cord connections at the dryer terminal itself. You'll need to unplug the dryer, then remove the cover where the cord enters the dryer. It is very common for these to burn and break due to loose connections.

Did you also try a hard reset?

Where do i plug the charger into my magellan? seems like there is smothing missing on the back of the unit. unit is magellan explprist 400

  • It may be a little confusing. You actually plug the USB computer cord into the back of your GPS (see diagram) and then plug the AC power cord into the end of the USB cord (that would normally go into a USB port on your computer.) In effect two wires connected together. Then plug the AC adapter into your outlet.

Our belling double elec oven has just stopped working, no power at all and the fuse has not tripped? any help out there?

Are you sure there is power on the outlet? If yes then probably the power cord is at fault. You should have a handy tester at hand to go further. You could buy a cheap one at any hardware or electronic shop. Now for the power cord. First remove the back cover of your unit. Then set your multimeter to voltmeter range... at the highest range. Plug your oven to the power outlet. Trace the line of the power cord inside the oven. Look for the connections and markings for Line1 and Line2. Now point your test prod to these connections. You should read a voltage similar to your power outlet. If not then replace the power cord. If its OK then remove the power cord to the power outlet. Set the multimeter to the Ohmmeter range. Check the coil if it is OK. You should read a reading of less than a hundred ohms or more. Be sure to remove any connections to the coil before doing this test. If everything goes well according to the test procedure then the culprit must be the power switch or the connection going to it or to the coil.

-Disconnect the power cord from the back of the unit.
-Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet.

TV won't turn back on after power cord was disconnected from unit

If power cord was jerked out of the outlet or set, make sure it wasn't damaged. If it was unplugged violently, the circuit board inside the set could be damaged. Also make sure the outlet that it is plugged into is not damaged or a switched outlet.

Hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one

Hi,

I have a questions for you, is the unit connected to a surge protector, or to a wall outlet.

If its connected to a wall outlet then the power supply will not be directly to the unit, as these units come with a built in surge protector in them.

You can try connecting the unit to a wall outlet, and if no go then try this step.

Disconnected the power cord from the unit as well as from the wall outlet.

Press and hold the ON button on the unit for 30 sec and then plug in the power cable to the wall outlet and then to the unit.

Remember to connect the cable to the wall outlet first and then connect it to the back of the unit.

This should probably fix the problem,
Please let me know if there is any other issues.
