That board is desinged to run xp i recomend bying a new mobo that is more compatible with windows 7 or vista
i say this because of the 2 gig ram limit vista services will chew thru 3/4 of that with a standard fresh install
im not familar with the requirments of windows 7 i imagin thy are similar to vista witch in my opion is the garbage os that ME was when it came out

thus meaning meaning windows 7 would be the counterpart to xp vrs ME

if your wanting to get away from xp try ubuntu out.
drivers uhm yah ubuntu searched my system and in 1 click i had the drivers for me dell dimension 8300 and i mean all of them for the buss and io sub system ,nic card ,sound card ,video card (was seperate confirmation) i still have caution flags running xp sp3 no drivers avalible from manufacturer shrugs >its working

P5n-mx will support windows 7

Hi,

The motherboard support Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit operating systems so it will definitely support windows 7.
You will probably find that after you've installed Windows 7 there will be no need to install drivers for it.
All you'll probably need to do is update them via Windows Update.

Access the Windows DEVICE MANAGER.
Select the USB hardware.
Click UPDATE DRIVER, and see if Windows Update can download and provide the correct device-driver to enable USB 2.0 support on your USB 2.0 ports.

Or, try: http://www.biostar.com.tw and see if the updated USB device-driver is posted on their "Support

Coprocessor driver for windows 7

Hi,

Try letting Windows update detect and install the coprocessor driver for you.
You may have to perform the Windows update a couple of times before the device is detected.

When you start windows update it will give you a list of software and drivers that are available, you will in the list that there are optional updates available. Check there to see if the coprocessor driver is there and install everything except for the language packs.

Hopefully this will resolve the problem for you.

Good luck.

I am using windows 7 & I have m2n mx asus motherboard but no driver for audio... Windows 7 automaticaly updates it,s driver but they didn't work........

Since Windows 7 is not officially released yet. There are no dedicated hardware drivers for this version of windows. If your hardware is Vista compatible, try to select the vista drivers for your sound card and it should work

Is there a way to run a Dynex DX-UC104 with vista.

Sounds like you need to make sure your chipset drivers are up to date and all service packs are installed.
Ther is no reason it will not work in vista as it works in windows 7 64bit.So visit your motherboard site to get bios updates and driver updates, then update all through windows update and try to reinstall.
Windows should install a driver for vista.

this is a link for non vista
