Re: Printer will not work

I would say that something inside is either broken or jammed. A lot of the older injets had a rubber belt inside that moved the print cartridge. I don't know where you would find a replacement.

Ink solution problem what should i do???i cant print

If your printer reports "out of ink" or "ink cartridge empty" and you want desperately to print some pages you can try this : while printer is on take out all ink cartridges and put them back again, turn off the printer and on again. Doing this you may abuse the printer for a while.
In any other case give more details like : Printer Brand and model Error report phrase If printer is noisy ..etc..

Colour ink not printing

If the printer is printing blank pages, make sure you are using the correct printer driver and make sure the paper size is correctly selected in the driver. If the printer is printing black only, the "Ink" option in the printer driver may be set to "Black" instead of "Color" or a setting in the software may be set to print black only. Also, the print head nozzles may be clogged.

A head cleaning and nozzle check must be performed as a cycle. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed dot pattern. Each staggered horizontal and straight vertical line should be complete, with no gaps in the dot pattern. If there are gaps in the dot pattern, continue with another cycle. Perform up to 3 cycles if necessary. If the nozzle check is not printing completely, and if the head cleanings do not help the nozzle check pattern to print completely, turn the printer off overnight and try the cleaning cycles again.

Try a new ink cartridge. Also, make sure you are using a genuine ink cartridge and has the same number as your old catridge.

Please tell me how do I change the ink cartridge in my Epson TX650?

1) Looking at the front of the printer/scanner there is an indent on the left hand.

2) Lifting up on this portion should reveal the inside of the printer.

DO NOT touch the flat cable inside the printer, DO NOT force the lid, it should open easily.

3) The ink cartridge is underneath the plastic cover in the back right-hand side of the printer. Gently pull up on the cover until it swings open.

4) pinch the clips holding the ink cartridge in the printer and pull up.

5) Unpack the new ink cartridge.

6) Remove the tape that is on the ink cartridge.

(If you forget this step the printer won't print. If that happens, remove the new cartridge, remove the tape and then reinsert the cartridge)

7) Insert the ink cartridge and push gently until it clicks into place.

8) Close the cover over the ink cartridges, and then close the printer cover.

9) Follow any direction on the front display (hit OK)

I have an Epson C84 that I stored for a few years. It worked great when I put it away(with ink in it). Now I can't get it to print at all. I have ran the clean nozzle several times(6-8) and still the only...

I used to work with an Epson rep and it was around the time this printer was popular. This once happened to him before and he said the only solution is to run the clean cycle. I know you already ran it 6-8 times, but I remember him saying, "Yup, keep running it until it prints. It could take 30 more times". It might be easier to get a new one, if you can use the ink for another printer or sell it, but I think your only solution would be to run the clean cycle and hope. Good luck.

My Kodak 3250 printer is printing very faded. I've changed the ink cartridges, even taken out the print head itself and cleaned it with alcohol. Calibrated it several times, print head aligned it several...

First if you used ALCOHOL on the print heads you most certainly made some DAMAGE because alcohol will MELT the microscopic electronic nozels, the best way to clean a jet ink head is to soak it into WARM WATER NOT ALCOHOL, if your lucky you could try soaking the head in warm water for 30 minuts, than VERY DELYCATELY dry it with a scott towel, than use GENUINE KODAK INK not generic or re-filled ink cartridges if all that does not work, well you probably need a new print head

Good luck!
