Hi,thanks for using fixya,

Switch off the computer and open pc cover.
First check the ram, clean by eraser or with solvent and install again ,if the problem same install thre ram to another computer either it damage or not .If the problem is same change ram.

If same as before, remove the cmos battery or clear the cmos jumper and hold " on off "switch for 40 seconds. Install battery again and start pc .

Now please check the "smps" by another new or by your "smps" to another pc to confirm either it damage or not.shibuda_44.jpgshibuda_43.jpgshibuda_42.jpg

If same as before now please take a risk and ready to chip label repair,
1.Change all the capacitors, beside the processor, with the help by nearest technician.
2.Set an identification Mark, on the bios chip, by the permanent marker because you need to remove and install it.It could not be possible for all mother board .
3.Remove bios chip from base , clean with solvent and install it proper again.
4.For Intel mother mother ,install a flopy drive and switch on the power and, follow the flopy drives "led light", either it glow or not.
If the flopy drives led light on,download bios filre for your intel mother board ,paste on flopy.follow the bellow link for download.

5.Now don't switch off your motherboard at the time of updating the bios,so please use an ups,and insert the flopy, along with bios file.Set the cmos jumper in recovery mode( just change the normal position ),and switch on motherboard, hope, through this proceses, should recver the mother board.
If the problem is same, I will recoment you for new motherboard.

Not able to switch on the mothere board. Green led on the board glows but the system is not powering on.

1. Check the mother board user manual 1st. To see how to properly install this mother boar to your PC cabinet or tower.
2. Check to see if you have the power from the power supply correctly connected
3. You may not have the proper watts or power from the power supply to power said mother board.
4. check the mother board battery it may not have proper voltage it should be 3.9 volts or more with a voltage meter check.
usually a 2025 button battery on the board

D865GVHZ mother board Doesnt boots

If everything was working fine before, and you flashed bios unsuccessfully, then yes, if would be a bios problem.

If you didn't flash the bios you should check the connections on your monitor. If that's okay then check your memory, hard drive and cpu.

Good luck,

Pwr/slp/msg led not glow but the hdd led is always on

hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? not open or no boot. If it doesn't boot or power on and no prsence of current on your pc. The main problem is motherboard. it may be no current is running on the board.because the supply chord was lost or not enough supply to make the motherboard execute.check if your power cable 16 pins is connected and the 4 pins 12 volts power support.if it loosen thats the problem. Sometimes the compatibility of your processor and the mainboard is needed.if both of these is for the first time check the compatibility of the mainboard and the processor in your support manual. good luck!

Asus 945 motherboard is in stand by mode. When I power on , the LED of mother board is glow The cpu fan just jurking and stop. And the LED of motherboard is still now glow.

Hi kausik, that green led you see on the motherboard is just letting you know there is power to the board. (This is normal).
You'r CPU fan jerking & stopping is a bad thing & has nothing to do with standby mode. Your CPU fan needs to be replaced.
There are a bunch of Asus 945 boards, just click the link to see.
If you are able to remove the fan from the heatsink than you may be able to buy a fan from here.
Most people replace both heat sink & fan.

Have more questions, feel free to ask.
Good Luck!
