Oops i put d3000 and meant to put D5000. I dropped my camera and cannot view images on screen anymore. I can look at them via the computer, so camera still works just can't view.

Do you see anything at all on the screen? For example, if you press the MENU button, do you see the menu? If you press the playback button, do you see the pictures you've already taken?

Dropped T3i.

Its a DLSR so you can not do any thing at home. You need to visit a canon service center and then they will open the camera and check the circuit board is broken. cracked during dropping or not. And they will repair it.

No view of Olympus 7010 screen after dropping

You'll have to take the camera in for service to replace the component that was damaged in the fall.

Unfortunately, the cost to repair the camera will most likely be as much or more than just buying a new, replacement camera.

i can tell you that the lcd backlight is working but the lcd is definetly damaged. if you can find it in you to purchase the lcd and fit it yourself then you could fit it yourself. if it becomes difficult then get a technician to fit it.

LCD Display window

This is the problem, when she dropped it, some gears inside it got shoved out of place. If the screen or anything glass you can see is still intact, that's a good sign that it probably didn't break any of the fragile gears but if it isn't intact then you need to get it repaired, although that could cost up to $100 and that's how much this camera costs

Dropped the camera

Change the LCD screen. Rs. 1200 for the screen, 800 labour charges, 200 service tax at Rashi peripherals India, Bombay.

Only catch is that it's not available :-). ... and this model is not even a year old.

Monitor screen lights up but no image or menu can be seen

If the screen won't show anything then you are going to have to send it in and have Casio look at it. More than likely the LCD is going out but just hasn't "gone" completely. Give them a call at 800-706-2534 and then option 2 and tell them that your lcd is going out and they'll tell you the closest place to send it.
