You can try and make the door close tighter. Open the door, and there should be 2 screws that hold the other side of the latch. Loosen the two screws and push the latch back towards the back of the tub. Tighten and see if that takes care of the problem. That is where I usually start when leaking from the tub.

Must need a new air tube or worse still the air chamber has a split in it
clean machine out in w/shop and with sides off check out with a light to see where the leak is realy comming from it may be leaking from the top wash feed pipe leaking around pipe to tub
these do fracture there and water running down to base
if so replace feed pipe

The pressure chambers and side tanks are prone to clogging up, you can back flush them but with limited success. By the time you have removed and flushed them you are just as well to replace them. Also there is a corrugated pipe about 1 inch in diameter on some models running down to the sump that blocks and water will overflow from the vent on the side tank. The sides will come off, usually 2 screws down the front frame visible with the door open and one at the back. The humming you are hearing with be the drain pump running as it is thinking it is flooded as there is water in the base causing the machine to end its program and drain before its finished and showing 0.01 on the screen.
Hope this helps.

The drain motor won't stop running. Is it a sensor or a switch that is faulty

Sounds like you either have a leak which has activated the flood safety in the base, you can check this by pulling the machine onto a towel and tipping the whole unit forward ie raise the back of the machine off the floor so it is pivoted on the front feet at approx 45 degrees, if water runs out from under the machine you have a leak (the machine may well start to work again now but you need to trace the leak or it will reoccur as soon as the safety is activated again). The other possibility is the pressure chamber or hose (pressure chamber to sump) is blocked and the microswitch is being activated because the water is not entering the tank quick enough. Isolate from electric, remove lid and left panel (looking from the front). There is a plastic chamber bottom right of left side with two microswitches, either this is blocked or the hose that runs from it to the right and along the back of the kick panel and into the sump. Clear either or both (make sure all hoses are pushed true when repositioning).

Water in the base of the dishwasher cutting out the module- flashing indicating flood protection. Sound as though a seal has gone- 6 year old, can anyboby help?..

look for a blockage in a chamber on the left hand side (remove left panel for access. alternativley look for leak on the right hand side where a rising tube enters the cabinet to supply the top spray arm it has been known to break the threads and leak inside ( a new rising tube will be needed.

Most Dishwasher have a flote switch for the water level. You need to check it as well as the water inlet water valve.

you gotta send the full model number, open the door and look at the very front of dw where the door closes into the machine, usually the tag is on the left side at 9 oclock, first are you positive that's where it's leaking remove the bottom kick panel and see if the motor or anything isn't leaking there too.if it is the door gasket it's an easy fix
