Washed a load of floor rugs now washer will not drain

sorry but one rug is ample for any machine, but the load weight alone is far to much on the machine,i have been in a testing factory and seen the things people put in machines and it would shock you,but back to your presant problem?basicly the whole dranage system is full of heavy dirt and needs cleaned badly.Try putting two dishwasher tablets through machine and see what happens but i must say i wouldnt have high hopes,i would think lower dranage pipes are going to be cleaned.if you want my help come back to me.adrian,,,,,,,

My ge washer shuts off at 19 minutes, but filter is clean

The rug backing may have gone into the pump (the white motor thing) you might take the motor out and flush it out if it is clear and it still won't pump out the pump needs replaced.

My KAWS850J does not drain or spin, probably due to clogging.

you would have to pull the back off of the unit to gain access. The drain wont be clogged, it is most likely the pump. what probably happened was material from the rug got sucked into the pump and wrapped around the fan that pushes the water out of the washer.good luck

F-21 drainage problem. put a rubber backed rug in washer which came off in little pieces. I'm afraid they clog the pump or something else, the drainage hose is clear

"F21" is a Long Drain error code. This indicates that you have an obstruction in the drainage system. More than likely (as you may suspect) you probably have a clog in the drain pump. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r1484065-f21_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

For future reference, rugs that have a rubber backing may be a bad idea to put in these washers, because of the problem you just encountered, and because of the amount of dirt (especially sand) that they can hold. You may be better off washing rugs at a laundromat.

If you have any questions about this repair, or need additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appar until the pump is replaced.

GE Washer won't drain or spin

this is something that you can fix even if your not a technical person . first you have to open the washing machine front panel or back panel , second , follow the DRAIN HOSE to where its connected to a little motor, disconnect the DRAIN HOSE , take the LITTLE MOTOR out and clean it out , it could be clogged.
it happen once and find out the person put the BATH RUG SET
to wash , the rug was so old that pieces of a rubber underneath the rugs clogged the drain , so there was no rinse and no spin.
try it , I hope it helps.

Spins but water won't drain out.

Yep that rug backing has totally clogged hoses, drain pump.
will have to be dissasembled and cleaned. You could try some creative things like using air pressure to try and clear the tubes.
