Re: Frigidaire dishwasher

Remove the silver cover on the right side and see if there is a loose wire or a bare wire touching the box if not then check the connectors for a loose connection as they will arch also

Frigidaire fdb1050rec 154427301 Have had this

Good Morning Kate, thank you for your inquiry!

Often when a dishwasher leaks, it is because the unit could possibly be unlevel. If not, water can be leaking over the front lower baffle in the door. Try looking along the cabinet and see if the unit is even with the cabinet. Measure the correct amount of detergent as found in the Owner's Guide. It is recommended to use one teaspoon for every three grains of harness. If regular dishwasher detergent (for sink use) is used in a dishwasher it can also cause excessive sudsing. Lastly, the dishwasher could possibly have a loose water vale or a crack in the tub. I hope this information helps to some degree. If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to reconnect!

Frigidaire ffbd2407ls0a dishwasher will not drain hose not kinked. Also checked drain area inside unit. Possible pump is out does not sound like it's trying to pump water out.

Hello Seth Langston - When was the last time you clean the filter? Is the unit making a grinding noise? If so, I strongly suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the drain motor/pump.

My dish washer dose not start, it keeps yieling "

Hi enasammar, First thing to do is to reset. Merely unplugging the power cord from the wall socket for 4 hours, then power up again. The purposed of unplugging is to dissipitate the stored current in the memory IC thats control the unit to hang up, so it will gone. Take out all inside the unit and clean, then turn on . If still not working give me the model number so i can find the schematic diagram for that unit. Hope it may helps.

About thirty minutes into the dishwasher running it starts to make a heavy woo, woo, woo sound, almost like a grind. It is only for about two sections of the time and then it stops and sounds normal...

The sounds it is making most possibly are coming from the drain cycle. It is probably finished with the prewash, or the first cycle (depending on what cycle you use). You may have some foreign object down inside the impeller which is why you hear it more now. Often times, a glass may get broken and a small piece gets down inside the pump, or we have seen alot of different things (from cherry pits, to chicken bones). At any rate, you should be able to remove the lower screen inside your dishwasher to a recessed area. You can try and see if you find any objects down inside there and if so, remove them, then replace the screen. If the noise continues, the foreign object may flush itself out eventually. If it gets worse, or continues without any relief, you may need to have a service person come out and take your pump apart to get the foreign object.

Remove the drain end. Keep it above little . Check whether the water is retained inside the washing machine. If water is retained- check your drain valve in the machine. it is parmenantly open or having improper closure.

Your water is not entering the dishwasher. Could be a kink in your water supply hose or the water supply is not fully on. Perhaps during installation the wires came loose from the water valve underneath.
Check these things and report back.
