"EC" means "error code". The code itself is the flashing number that alternates with the freezer temp display.
The meaning of the error codes was posted above.

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your air conditioner continues to display "EC". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt
