Question about IBM ThinkPad T40 2373 Notebook
I have a T40 2373 that would not start for me the other day (would not even load to the Welcome screen). After 6 tries, it started, funcioned for an hour, then the screen went black. (no error message, just black) and it would not start up again.
I can now get it to start if, and only if, I hold it at an angle. (35% inclined forward seems to be prefered. thats about Spanish Texts and a Harry potter if you are scoring at home).
Its not a problem with the screen, as I have tried jacking in an external monitor. which also only will display when the computer is at an angle.
It does not reset when the screen goes from working-not-working.
I have stripped out everything i am comfortable removing and checked all screws, everything appears tight.
Cant afford another and need it for work
