Need driver

hey i'm trying to find a driver to dowload for the above mentioned cd-rw hardware. The computer is no longer reading any data disks, music disks or dvd's. so i believe that the driver is missing from the computer. i've found a "firmware" update but that didn't help, is that the same thing or is that different?

well go to device manager by rt click on my computer then see ur drive rt click then properties from there a box will open make sure ur connected to internet then check for update driver i think it shud find some suitable driver for ur device
